What Does a 20,000-Hour Laser Light Source Life Mean?

Many professional laser projector platforms are designed for long light-source operation. SMX short throw laser models are typically specified for 20,000 hours in Normal mode, with selected models rated up to 30,000 hours in ECO operation.

Rated Life Does Not Mean Sudden Failure at a Fixed Hour
