360° Projector Installation Explained: Orientation, Mounting & Ventilation

360-degree projector installation refers to the ability of a compatible projector to operate in multiple physical orientations. It improves mounting flexibility, but it should not be confused with 360-degree panoramic projection or an immersive 360° room.

Intake openings should not be blocked by brackets, walls, enclosures or nearby equipment.

Exhaust Clearance

Hot exhaust air needs adequate space to leave the projector without recirculating immediately.

Ambient Temperature

The projector should operate within the specified temperature and altitude range.

Enclosure Design

Hidden installations may require engineered airflow rather than simply placing the projector inside a closed box.
