Projector geometry correction provides more advanced digital image-shape adjustment than standard keystone correction. This guide explains 4-corner, 6-corner, pincushion, barrel and grid image tuning, how geometry correction differs from keystone and lens shift, and how these tools are used in immersive projection, museums, simulation, projection mapping and other professional AV installations.

Projector keystone correction digitally adjusts a distorted image when the projector is not perfectly aligned with the screen. This guide explains vertical and horizontal keystone correction, how keystone differs from lens shift and geometry correction, when digital correction is useful, and why correct projector positioning should still be the starting point for professional installation.

Learn how projector lens shift, keystone correction, geometry correction and edge blending perform different installation tasks. This guide explains which adjustment method to use for projector positioning, rectangular image alignment, curved surfaces and multi-projector systems.
