3LCD projector technology uses three separate LCD imaging panels to process red, green and blue image information before the color channels are optically recombined and projected through the lens. This guide explains the 3LCD light path, the role of each LCD panel, how laser light sources can work with 3LCD imaging, and why panel alignment, optical design, brightness, color and thermal management all contribute to final projector performance.
